My baptism

14563379_10153812081091976_6571726455705890059_nHi, this is Abigail Brewer again and I want to tell you about how I got baptized at my church yesterday, Sunday, October 2. I went to a day camp during the summer of 2015 and I learned about Jonah. He was going the wrong way in life because he was trying to run away from God. I realized that I was running away from God and I wanted to accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I came forward and prayed and I was born again. A year later, I was on a mission trip with my Dad, and I realized that I needed to get baptized. That is the first command after accepting Jesus by faith. I want to be obedient to God in all things so I talked to my Dad about getting baptized. I wanted to share this with the world. You can see my video here.

I was able to go to camp with my bother, Emmanuel. We did a fun Bible study about God’s Heroes. My dad was one of the teachers. I was at camp with 30 other kids. We had small group Bible study times. I remember many of the heroes that we talked about. I learned about: Continue reading “I went to Day Camp”

Back to School

Jesus tells us to be His disciples, and I want to be a great student in everything that I do. My dad has some good articles about the importance of being a good student. I invite you to read them:

I love to read. I love to learn. I want to be a sweat aroma of Jesus Christ to everyone in my classroom and school.

14 But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. (II Corinthians 2)

God is good, all the time!

Hi everyone, it’s Abigail here to tell you about how good God is. I have been working really hard to raise money for my mission trip to Romania. I had to wake up at 5 o’clock on a Saturday morning to work at a yard sale to raise money for our trip. It was so much fun. I was in charge of the cash box. 13327477_10153530459546976_753450466516717012_nI learned how to count money and give people correct change. I prayed that God would help us raise the money that everyone on our team needed. I am here to tell you that He heard and answered our prayers. Over the past couple of months, we have been able to raise all of the money that we need for our mission trip to Romania. Please pray for us as we leave on Monday, June 20. I will keep you updated on what we are doing while there. Thanks for all of your prayers and support. God bless.
