Breakfast with the Brewers

Hi everyone, it’s Abigail again. I want to tell you about a new Bible study that I started with my friends at my house with my parents. My dad is a pastor and my mom is a Bible study teacher. I have been in small group Bible studies ever since I was born! I have picture of me trying to write on a dray erase board before I could even talk 😀 My mom and dad decided to start a new Bible study at our home. It’s called breakfast with the Brewers. We meet on the first Saturday of the month and have breakfast and then study the Bible together. We are studying a Bible study called, “God, what is Your name?”

It is a comprehensive Bible study for kids on the different names of God in the Bible. At the top of the article, you will see a picture of all the kids who came to the first meeting. During the first lesson, we studied a very important verse from the book of Proverbs.

10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous runs into it and is safe.

 

The Lord is a strong tower and we are invited to run to Him and find safety. Some people trust in themselves but we learn to trust in the Lord because He is our strong tower. Where do you run in a time of need? Where do you find safety?
